Like we said, it’s all things Comedy Central. You can find full episodes of the Colbert Report, the Daily Show and many others along with a huge assortment of clips. Even if you aren’t concerned with full episodes, the clips could keep you entertained for years. The clips aren’t necessarily from Comedy Central shows either. They also come from skits and stand-up gigs, just about anything that’s funny.

This is probably obvious once you think about it, but you shouldn’t go to Comedy Central looking for drama or suspense. As the name suggests, it’s all funny business. That’s fine, but it is also the reason why Comedy Central didn’t rank higher; it doesn’t appeal to a wider audience and diverse interests. You only visit Comedy Central if you’re looking for satire and farce. 

Ease of Use:  

The main page of the Comedy Central site is packed with all sorts of announcements, promotions and links, so it looks confusing at first. But all you have to do is click on the “Shows” link and it all becomes clear. You can choose your show or search for specific clips and episodes.

The viewing pane is very simple, and it’s easy to see related videos, share them and embed them all from the same screen.

Advertising:  

Comedy Central does a good job of minimizing the ads you have to watch. The video ads occur periodically in full episodes. These ads are usually shown with shorter clips as well, which can make it annoying because you have 30 second commercials after every 2-3 minute clip.

One thing we love about Comedy Central is that the text and image ads are hardly noticeable. In fact, the only text ads are hiding inconspicuously at the bottom of the screen when you view clips. It took quite a while before we even noticed them. 

Features:  

Comedy Central makes it easy to find information about clips, embed them, share them and pop the viewing pane out to a new window. One of the best features is the Comedy Central community, where users comment on videos and talk about their favorite episodes. 

Help/Support:  

The tech support on Comedy Central is pretty standard. You can find a FAQs page with common questions and you can also contact the site by email if you don’t find the answers to your questions there. 

Comedy Central is a great site with some great features and a lot of entertaining content. The only problem is that it has such specialized content.
